Christmas Is All About A Birthing
By Tammy Lacock
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.” (Eph. 1:4, KJV)
In this episode, Warren explains that the virgin birth of Christ though Mary is mostly criticized and not believed in a lot of segments of the religion, including Christianity. The birthing of Christ through Mary signals God’s plan for us: The seed of Christ that God placed in Mary is the same seed God places in us when we believe on Christ as God’s Son and our personal Savior. Our sin nature is replaced by Christ’s nature in our new birthing. We become an entirely new creation. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Cor. 5:17, KJV).
In all of Paul’s epistles, he reveals the great “mystery” of Christ living in us. In Ephesians 1:4, he says before the foundation of the world, God chose us IN Christ. Repeatedly, Paul describes our salvation as a union with Christ, with Christ in the believer and the believer in Christ.
Even as Mary was a chosen vessel for the living Savior, so too are believers chosen to be vessels with Christ living IN us, even before the foundation of the world.
During this Christmas time, see through everything to Christ. See the simplicity of God’s plan in the manger. See Santa Claus as God the Giver of His Son. See through the presents to Christ’s gift of His Life for our salvation. See through Mary to Christ alive IN you as your hope of glory (Col. 1:27).
Every born-again believer can now celebrate a continuous Christmas knowing that Christ lives in him or her every day, now into eternity. Christ is Life. Our hope of glory!
“He who hath the Son hath life and he who has not the Son hath not life.” (John 5:12 KJV)
