Ephesians 3, Part 4

From Me to You

By Tammy Lacock

“For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward.” (Eph. 3:1-2, KJV)

In Part 4 of Ephesians 3:1-2, Warren focuses in on the last part of verse 2 written by apostle Paul “which is given me to you-ward.” Again, this new grace gospel that was given to Paul by Christ, Himself, was not given to anyone else. Christ didn’t raise up Peter, or James, or any great preacher of the time to deliver this new gospel. He chose only Paul.

Paul was relentlessly pursuing and persecuting Christians everywhere he went. Why did God choose Paul, the meanest man on earth at the time? God chose Paul to show that He can and will save anyone regardless of their past, regardless of their sins.

This new grace gospel was given to Paul to give to us Gentiles. Paul was saved by grace, and he wanted everyone to know they, too, can be saved by grace, not by law, religion, church, or anything that we do. By Christ’s death and resurrection, we need only to believe to be saved, and by believing, Christ becomes our new life and we become sons and daughters of God through Him. That’s God’s Amazing Grace that we are living in right NOW!

Paul received revelation after revelation from the Holy Spirit, and he wrote them down throughout his 14 epistles. He calls it the “revelation of the mystery,” that “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Gal. 2:20, KJV).

Are you receiving this new gospel in the church you attend? Have you heard about the dispensation of grace that we are NOW living in and will end at the rapture of Christ’s Church? Somehow over the past 2,000 years, this grace gospel wasn’t passed on the way Paul passed it to the Gentiles of the time. Search the scriptures and Paul’s epistles for this truth given to him to give to us. And pass it on...the whole world needs to know!
